When the cable conductor resistance does not meet the requirements, it will cause the cable to overheat during operation. When the voltage source is connected to the external load, the internal resistance is considered to be in series with the external load. When using, the internal resistance of the voltage source is required to be as small as possible. In the case of the same voltage and the same material, the better the material of the conductor, the smaller the resistance, and the power line is generally divided into copper-clad aluminum or oxygen-free copper. According to the resistivity of copper wire and aluminum wire: 1. At the same temperature, the resistivity of the copper wire is 0.0175 Ω, and the resistivity of the aluminum wire is 0.0294 Ω. The shorter the length of the power cord, the smaller the resistance, and the larger the cross-sectional area, the smaller the resistance. For most conductors, there is a certain relationship with temperature. The higher the temperature, the larger the resistance, but with a few conductors, the resistance decreases with increasing temperature. 2. The partial sheath of the cable is damaged. After the water enters, it will cause slow destruction of the insulation performance, resulting in the gradual reduction of the insulation resistance and the overheating of the cable during operation. 3. At the time of installation, the cable arrangement is too dense, resulting in poor ventilation and heat dissipation. 4. The cable is too close to other heat sources, resulting in improper heat dissipation. 5. The joint manufacturing technology is not good, the crimping is not tight, causing the contact resistance at the joint to be too large, resulting in overheating of the cable. 6. The insulation performance of the cables is not good, causing the insulation resistance to be small and overheating during operation. |
